looking to get a wheel balancer for my 1/8 buggy(17mm),dont have the big bucks right now,heard good and bad about the dynomite one (not so good bearings) any thoughts. thanks

I USE THE DYN ONE WITH NO PROBLEMS. THE LOSI ONE LOOKS GOOD. IT FOLDS INTO ITS OWN CASE AND EVEN COMES WITH BAL PUTTY,

If you buy the dynomite one take out the bearings and flip out the seals either side as they don't help in making a balance perfect.
Give them a spray of WD40 before use.

It is true about the dynamite having bad bearings. It doesn't spin free at all, my buddy and I made the bearings spin better by spraying out all the grease and removing one shield and leaving that side towards the inside of the balancer. I owned Ultimate Racing balancer (Not bad) before I just recently got the Losi balancer. The Losi is really nice in that you install the wheel backwards making it faster to use. Get the Losi!!!

I use the Hudy balancer it does cost a little more $$ but it still spins very free.

The new losi one looks really good. Plus the way it mounts the wheel with the inside facing outward will make it a lot easier to put weight on then re-check

Dubro and Nothing But....IMO its the smoothest out of the bunch Hudy Dynamite included.

+1 on glueing up new rubber. Premounts are my fav. But I gotta say buggy wheels are much easier than truggy.

+ 1 on the Hudy yes its a little dearer but it will last you your race life and get some coin back when its time to sell.

+1. After you remove the sheild, spray out the grease they have packed in there with break cleaner. Then a little shot of wd40 before use. Works great.
