So What US vendors carry these?

I called tq racing yesterday but the guy who answered either didn't want to pick up the phone to begin with or just doesn't know anything about anything lol. I called them cuz I know they carry 3R stuff but he said he doesn't know and them says no we don't carry them. I'm just going to order from RC mart since I think that's the only place I see the kit and I believe I saw the kit on eBay as well

My guess is that they don't carry it, yet.

It's great dealing with Speedtech. For a HK retailer, RCMart isn't bad at all. The eBay dealer is selling it @ $150 plus $30 for shipping. At that price I would rather get a TLR 22 for $179 @ Amain.
I'm really surprised though that most of the regular 3Racing sellers don't have this in stock.

RCMart just listed it on ebay for 135.90 plus 34.00 shipping. I'm hoping TQ starts to carry it too so we could save on the shipping costs. I was looking into the TLR 22 since they reduced it, but I'm really impressed with 3Racing's car kits so far. I have two Zero S's and one XI Sport and they're really solid cars. I think if TQ gets it and it's in the 150 range I will most likely pull the trigger on it.

For $180 delivered -looks like a pretty good deal knowing 3R's success with their touring cars. Parts supply from HK though - sigh.

Seems to be an odd size. Not sure. Saw pics of someone running it at the Worlds and he was using TLR 22 shocks on it.

I just went to rcmart's website and they're actually selling it for 149.90 with free shipping. I really think TQ, which is in so cal, will support this buggy.

It concerns me that the wheelbase seems to be shorter than a majority of the 2wd buggies (250mm on this one). Looking at the wheelbase of the B4.2, RB6, TLR 22, those all seem to be around 275mm to 285mm.

$150.00 for a 3racing quality buggy? Wow. Seems compelling. But if people are sticking other shocks on it, that's may be a tell-tale warning that maybe the kit will need more than just a few small hop ups.

Very possible. When it comes to wheel and tuning options, car mfgs do well to adopt certain standards. If a car uses standard wheel hexes (e.g. 12mm), great. Can use another mfg's pistons? Great. Springs too? Great.

All of this makes it that much easier to go and buy the car knowing that you'll be able to look to your LHS/Track to make tuning changes.

Wish more mfgs would catch on. Unless there is a great engineering reason, they should adopt compatibility.

I still think the selling price on these will go down. It has the almost the same suggested retail as their D3 drift car and that car goes for $80 at some places.

Man, could you imagine a $80 Cactus?

I'm really curious to know how Felix Law did at the 2wd Worlds. I don't think off road is his normal surface but I'd like to know his opinions on the car.

We don't know what the quality is until it's in people's hands. There's no telling if 3racing developed this or branded someone else's design and production standards.

Are people sticking other shocks on it? I haven't heard that here.
