i think the F8 bag is now discontinued, trinity makes the T8 bag now. Same thing, plastic boxes, blue and black, cheaper.

Default Stanley Fat Max

Just thought i'd show you all my new pit box...which I think is fantasic.

I have been looking for just the right box now for a couple of years, I still haven't sorted out how i'm going to pack everything yet, but I should go close to getting everything in the one box except may be for my radios.

Cheers

Thanks for the replies,

Yeah everyone at my track thought the same thing, I think there is at least 1/2 a dozen boxes at the track now.

I should be getting some sort of commision from the local hardware as their sales of these boxes have gone through the roof.

Cheers

thats cool. I think ill just keep my tools all in the plano box, with a compartment for the small stuff, and have a small duffle bag with a heavy duty cardboard box for the car, radio, charger, etc.

I was thinking about picking one of these up...

How did you fit 2 touring cars in there?

theres a few bins in it, and the car fits right in, and then in the other one you can put the radio, and charger and stuff.

Yes, but 2 touring cars?

There are 5 bins. One big one on the top shelf, where the car goes, and then the middle shelf has 2 bins (which look too smal to pur a car in), and the bottom shelf has 2 bins also (which also look too small to fit a car in).

So I'm wondering how 2 touring cars fit in this bag. The only thing i can see is if you lay the 2 cars on their side in the top bin, like how shoes come packaged in a shoebox. Maybe that'll work. If not, maybe you can lay one car down on it's wheels like normal, and then put the other one wheels up and lay it on top of it, with the rear bumpers facing the outside so the hoods are towards the center.

I'd really love to get this bag, but I need it to hold both my cars. I also have of course the radio, 2 chargers, reactor 20 discharger, conditioning tray, batteries, and misc parts, etc. I think this bag can do it, but only if that top shelf bin can hold 2 cars.

Any thoughts?

hm, i thought the top two were the same size? maybe its wide enough for two. It probably isnt a problem for a 1/12 but a touring car may need to be put in another one, or maybe replace two bins for one large one.

Well I sorted out the box;

In the bottom I put a false floor with the TC in the bottom & the Mini on top with space for some small tackle boxes along side the Mini.

The top shelve will hold my larger tackle boxes & another false floor for the radio on some foam for protection.

Still couldn't fit all my charging/discharging gear & batteries in so I have another small toolbox which sits on top when wheeling around.

Sorry for no pic's just yet....i'm away from home on business so they'll have too wait.

Cheers
