I just wanted to second what spaz456 just said, and put the facts about Dumas straighten up.
I just talked to Dumas, and He's still with trinity but he's going to start running for Hudy/Xray and RC America.
hope that clear any miss information..
I run Regularly with dumas and Spaz456 at Rc madness..

You guy fail to realize that this is Billy's job you are talking about. Not some hobby he does to get out of the house on weekends. Loyalty only goes so far. He felt he needed a change and he did it. There is no difference between what he did and if you get a new job don't like it, quit and get another.

I know when I hire guys I don't want someone that has alot of jobs in a shor period of time no matter how good they are. It costs me more money to keep training and getting new guys setup. Yes job improvement is one thing but to an employer it don't look good. Always makes you wonder why they needed to change jobs so often no matter what they put on their application.

I think Losi made a wise decision with Billy Easton. He is a World Champion off road driver and is an A main World's on road driver.. Not too mention several A main and wins on carpet at some of the biggest races in the country. He has a lot to offer.

this is true.

I like reading all of the assumptions that people here have made about Billy's motives for switching teams:
Their lack of understanding of his highly competitive nature;
Their lack of understanding of him wanting to be somewhere where he feels he is appreciated;
Their lack of understanding for him wanting to be able to make a living off of what he loves.
I realize no one can know all these things without knowing Billy and knowing the ins and outs of what all has happened over the years, but I really think it's unfair for people who aren't "in the know" to be passing judgment on him...saying he's an RC whore or was just switching for the money, etc
It's not my place to explain everything that has happened or particular details about this and that...
I just wanted to let people know that a lot of the assumptions I've read here on this board and in others are way off the mark... and that if you feel like you need to share your opinion with the world at least have your facts straight and offer them in such a manner that doesn't make you sound like a jerk

Billy's changed teams far less than some other highly visible drivers have in the recent past.

Whatever the case is with onroad...AE offroad has gotten the hose. First Travis switched, then Easton left, now Pavidis is going to Kyosho (which should be interesting). Maifield and Dassonville better step it up this year in electric offroad.
