Hello Northeast Racers!
This is the official thread for The Hobby Hangout, 48 Anderson Ave, New Milford CT.
The Hobby Hangout is an indoor RC facility with:
-1/10 Off-Road Turf Track sponsored by Team Associated.
-CRC carpet oval
-Indoor trail truck course
-Indoor 180-size or smaller drone racing (on announced days.)
-102 Pit Spots.
-On site Hobbytown .
-Party room for events.
-Snacks and drinks available.
-"Try Me" vehicles available from Team Associated, Axial and Helion RC for new drivers.
The Racing Schedule Is:
Wednesday: Oval, 3pm practice, 6:30pm Start
Thursday: Trail Truck 6pm start
Friday: Turf 3pm practice, 6:30pm Start
Sunday: Turf 8am practice, 11am Start

Just a quick note: We are switching carpet oval night from Wednesday to Tuesday. Same practice and start times.

This Sunday bring your 17.5 buggy to the hobby hang out the turf is heating up at the hang out. Heard a few of IRH boys are going to try out the turf @ the hobby hang out. This Sunday doors open at 9am see you then @ the hobby hang out getting my turf on..

2016 Turf Tear Up
The Hobby Hangout's first big race; The 2016 Turf Tear Up! Sunday, October 16th join us at The Hangout and bring your 1/10 off-road turf racing cars. We'll run any 1/10 off-road electric class as long as four or more drivers show up to make a class. 100 built pit spaces available, folding tables and chairs will be available for over-run. Minimum of 2 qualifiers and a main event. Awesome engraved trophies awarded to the top three in each main. Mark your calendars, tell your friends and be there!

Event Cost Per Race Day
1st Class $20.00 USD
2nd Class $20.00 USD
This race series will go the entire winter with 2 drops.

Classes
2wd Stock Buggy 17.5 ROAR motor, blinky speed controller, Weight 1500 grams
4wd 13.5 buggy 13.5 ROAR motor, blinky speed controller, Weight 1613 grams
2wd Modified Short Course
2wd Modified Stadium Truck
Drivers are only allowed to enter maximum of 2 classes
Each entry will get a raffle ticket. 1 per class
At the end of the series each class will have a raffle for a car kit (4 kits total given away)
At the end of the series top 3 drivers of each class will get a custom Team R/C Madness hooded sweat-shirt with the place you finished on it. Hope your all on board for some fun competition on Sundays this winter.

Doors open at 9AM Racing Starts at 11AM
we will run 2 5 minute qualifiers followed by 6 minute Mains
Must be a minimum of 5 cars per class

Hey Everyone - Because the next shipment of the Mini-T 2.0 has been pushed back we felt it necessary to also push the date on the Mini Nationals back. The new date will be April 18 & 19 2020 at R/C Madness in Enfield, CT. Thank you all for understanding.
