Default Sorry Fellas

I wanted to say that I had a great time. This was awsome. I can't wait for next year.

For the guy's who tried to qualify in the sportsman buggy. I had silver and green RC8 with a black wing. I promise I'm not a hack. This was my fifth or sixth race. I know I need a lot of practice. Hopefully I can get it. I tried to stay out of the way. The more I tried to do so, the more I got in the way. I'm sorry if you tangled up with me.

Well a buddy of mine that never races in a big event was there and he had just gotten a 2.0T this thursday needed someone to look at his truck to see if it was correct. I told him to take it to Drake. Drake looked at it and set up his throttle linkage for him with no problem. He asked Truhe a question for me about my motor and he answered him without issues.

All I can say is that Lutz was a machine in Truggy, too bad he had a throttle linkage problem, and it screwed him out of a sure win. he wheeled around truhe and drake and was walk'n away when he had his problem.

But what about his 2nd place finish with a 2 week old tamiya buggy? Give him 1 mmore week with that buggy, and I bet he could have won the race.

the pro drivers didnt marshall because of the race schedule. 1 hour pro truggy followed by 45min amatuer buggy, then 1 hour pro buggy. back to back to back with no stop in the action. where is the time to get a drink, use the restroom and get your equipment ready for your next round? i am positive if there was a break in-between rounds, they would have turn marshalled.
and what kind of hillbilly would ask somebody to sign an infant? i would have to agree with "stupid" and "idiot", totally justified. i think i might even throw in "in-bred".
I see/race/practice at the same track as adam 6-8 times a month. he is always nice and i have never seen him be rude to anyone.
im not swingin from anyones nutz, i just thought those comments were un-called for.

RCRESPECT.....it seems strange that you created a account today only to make your first comment about The losi Team like that. If you felt you had issue maybe you should have talked to drake personally instead of putting words together as you thought you heard them or judging what you think a facial impression means. I hung around asking questions all weekend and Adam, Kevin, Mike and Alan was very helpful to us. I think the event organizers will agree that in fact Adam and Mike did in fact give product to a couple younger guys to corner marshal for them in the early am, the kids did not show and the slots had to be filled by volunteers. Had the event moved them to the rear of the field for punishent rest assure it would have been 100% understood. In fact many, many racers fell victim to sleep deprivation and did not corner, why single out to racers who took the correct precautions to avoid this? I would say the next time maybe you should take the time to talk to those guys instead of judging from such a distance.

THere is a great reason why Adam Drake has got "driver of the year" 3 years running. IT's because he does many things good and sets the standard for the hobby, not by being as you said.

Good day..

To the statement of Adam Drake not ever wanting to help corner.. Thats a lie. I was at a race and he volunteered to corner right before his heat. And Ive talked to him. He is a class act.

Adam is a good guy and a good corner too. If some lady was elbowing me in pit lane, I would probably look at her funny too. Sometimes the pro guys have a lot on thier mind. It's a job for them too, you know?
