I balanced the car with the "HUDY 107880 - Chassis Balancing Simple Tool", and as I recall the car ended up ~2oz overweight when properly balanced. The KO 2413 low-profile servo helped with the balance, as it is about 10-11 grams lighter than a standard servo. Plus, it allowed me to mount my receiver down low
. The overall difference was actually negligible without the two extra fans. I went ahead left the extra weight on the car at the time, because I especially prefer a well balanced car on rubber tires. On foams, sometimes I do it a little differently.
