Default Pro 4 at Snowbrids II

Well I wasn't able to use the car much after I broke it, although I did try to remount the ballstuds on the upper deck in front of the shock tower, it didn't handle the same. I then tried to use my Yokomo (which I had converted to the CGM) but after two laps and a light tap on the boards it broke too. So I used the HPI again however I was too afraid of breaking the car since I needed to actually finish one qualifier. The worst part about the whole weekend was that the Pro 4 was awesome at the club race, the first round I was running in third and gaining on second when my batteries split apart then in the second round I put a lap on the entire field. Oh well next year I'll be able to get parts on a regular basis so it'll be all good.

Just a warning to all other Pro 4 owners be careful when disassembling this car..... especially before qualifying for a big race.... like snowbirds
Do you mean the brace that the upper arm link attaches to? If you do there was a guy at out local club took a light T-bone and broke hiss in his first race, hop we haven't found a weak spot! MAybe someone will release some carbon fibre ones???

All the insrtuctions of the pro4 show this little bar cut....However if you look at the latest pics of Hara's car he has left this bar in place.

I have done the same on mine as it seems to add that little bit of extra strength.

If it does...it will be very minimal since the shafts are bearing supported... I don't see it being a problem. the wear is less compared to the Tobee Craft version which is made of Aluminum.
