Thanks niz. That made a lot of sense. I shall try to put that into practice. Unfortunately I have no carpet I can test on lol.

Running 35s on front and 30s compound tyres on rear. I'm going to get some light oil today.

How's dose cst compare to weight as well? I have 400cst too

It varies a lot depending on brand, but a crude approximation is that Xwt is rougly equal to X*10cst (400cst would be roughly 40wt, which is a decent starting point).

IIRC that's only true for the lower weight oils, with higher weight, the spreads grows larger:

25~275
30 ~ 350
37.5 ~ 450
40 ~ 500
60 ~ 800
80 ~ 1100

You did, I know.

But the factor changes from ~11 to ~14 on those examples I posted. - So I wouldn't even try calculating it with a fixed factor, personally. I usually look it up, if I need to.

I picked up some 25 and 30 weight oil yesterday. will start rebuilding the rear end tonight. the rear left shock seems to be leaking bad too, so need to replace the o rings. i have a spare car, so I'm sure I can sort.

On a steering note. how can I change the ackerman on the twin point steering upgrade?

Need-more-speed said it in the 2nd post. Rebuild your car. Something is tweaked. Just go over it again and make sure everything is spot on.

Right, I rebuilt the shocks last night and rear end. added the 4 notch camber plate and washers under. A whole lot better now. I can power on straight, and I managed to make it into the A final for the 1st time ever.

I came last though lol! But I have never been in an A final before. I had too many nerves and struggled to be smooth.
