So its a AC 110v/220-240v to DC 12v.
2.A junction box is not a luxury but most of the times its a necessity.
You can either build one with on/off switch and fans or just straight get a Team Much More Power Station Multi Distributor.
IMHO, a junction box doesnt need an input/output fan. Its seriously aint that hot that it will melt the solder not melt the casing.

A power supply is not battery, meaning you must have it plugged into an AC current power source.... like your wall socket your TV plugs into...
Junction boxes are nice and convenient, but unless you are running more than 2 items at a time they are just for looks and actually take up more space and "clutter" things up more.... Now if you need to run 2-3 chargers, 2 discharge trays, coolings fans, and a set of tire warmers.... you NEED a junction box.... But it doesn't need to be cooled.....

Ok, I don't need two fans. When I build one, should I have a power switch for the WHOLE box or a switch on the box for each output pair?

Was the butt of jokes for months in our local track.
They were saying how scared i was tat the thing would catch fire and etc.
Built another v1.1.
Was great but looks horrible.
Now have finish building v2.0
Looks better and works better too.
WIthout the fan of cause.

It has 5 output with 3 on/off button.

I could have done without the 5 switches, but I figured what the hell, I'm going though the trouble to make the box why not make it ultra pimp so i can laugh at the people with the much more.

A power supply is essentialy a converter of AC to DC? You need to have it plugged into a wall socket the whole time you use it?
If so, how come some guys at the track don't have extension cords going all over the place?

Building a junction box is pretty simple, you don't need any switches really.... just don't go sticking metal objects in the terminals...LOL
simply you have a positive and a negative wire running into the box, you want a wire connecting all of your positive terminals and another wire connecting all of the negative terminals.... and obviously the positive wire going into the box connects to teh positive terminals and the negative to the negatives...... basically VVVVVVVV

I'm a little confused. I just plug the power supply into a 110V wall socket and keep it plugged in while using it?
