Got it give it a look see. didn't see it go though as my buddy ended up breaking a rear a-arm I think on an odd hit. It looks good though, got the standard XRay look to it. Body may take a bit growing used to here but looking forward to seeing him lay some laps down with it.

I will have my xt4 built tomorrow to race (setup) on Friday. Gonna run it on carpet so I’m going to ditch the center diff for a slipper setup. Should be fun to test and tune. I have a ton of spare xb4 and xt2 parts so I only really need towers. Everything else is either xb4 or xt2 direct compatible.
Cain and aspiringracer like this.

For everyone that has built one of these, what kind of servo did you go with? Would a Savox 1258 be ok in one of these, for example?

If 1258TG then it will be fine. I would cringe at titanium gears though. But it will work fine.

First day out for practice and tuning on carpet went really well. I swapped my slipper out of my xb4 for the gear diff, which I will try again once I get the correct fluid,(going to try 500K to start). it steers really well, jumps amazing, and has corner speed to spare. Only change from stock was the change back pills to get 1 degree antisquat, and 3 degrees toe. two felt a tad bit wishy washy in the rear, felt the same on my XT2, and inner hole on rear arm. Everything else was box, so 97% is stock, It just seems to drive better then the tekno I swapped mid pack with with a friend of mine who has the ET410 fully upgraded and tuned specifically for carpet, which makes the trucks equal in price, but his still broke during the day, and mine didn't. Overall impression is a fantastic truck. I do dislike one thing and that could be a point of contention down the road. Needing all of those washers behiond the front arms could cause a hinge pin failure. I'd like to see a redesign where its more of an xb4 inner part of the arm, and xt2 outer part without the holes and gap to run on the XT2, also some harder front arms would be nice, but the mediums didnt take much away.

Just finished the build. Looking for a bumpy loose dirt setup for this. Anyone have anything?

Use all of the medium plastics. Softer springs.

Anyone know if you’ll be able to run short course wheels on these like you can the ET410?

Just guessing off the specs of how long the front/rear driveshafts are, yes you should be able to run sct wheels.

I find titanium gears wear poorly and get sloppy.

Xray noob here, just finished building my XT4 and was wondering a few things? Is the kit set-up more of a dirt or carpet set-up? Also I'm assuming with Xrays spring ratings the more "dots" the stiffer the springs? I'll be running mine on a 1/8 scale sized loose track running Jconcepts double d's tires, what do you guys suggest I pick up for the truck? smaller swaybars, softer springs..ect? Thanks in advance!
