The HobbyWing Justock is not capable of timing (or boost). The only purpose the LED programming box has is to set the following:
  1. drag brakes
  2. forward/reverse running modes
  3. low-voltage cut-off
  4. initial punch force
  5. max brake force
  6. max reverse force
  7. initial brake force
  8. neutral range (aka. deadband width)
  9. and enable/disable overheat protection
There is no timing whatsoever on a Justock ESC.

I sort of doubt the speedo to be used for the Spec GT class will come without any pre-soldered wires...

I believe that was already established.

Quick question though, so you're say it has no timing?

I'd guess a Speed Passion Reventon Stock Spec with the 17.5 V3.0 fixed timing motor for spec GT.

I don't think Speed Passion is going to be sponsoring much of anything for awhile.

Do you know or think they will sponsor this year's amateur class? That was the motor last year. I thought that would be the motor this year too.

The fact SP isn't listed as a sponsor for IIC yet, would lead me to believe we may be looking at a different amateur motor.

What difference does it make?

I remember in the old days of handout brushed motors, it was always a well kept secret what the hand out motor was. It was a surprise when you checked in. Enough already.

Doesn't make much of a difference at all for the race, but also what difference does it make to ask?
