fhm about the servos, I would have to say to get ace servos. They are really high quality and a reasonably priced. Also, they are made by thunder tiger.you can find them at amainhobbies.com

if you find out for sure that you can run 7.4V with spektrum and any servo be sure to post here, I've been running lipo all last year, but I ran a 6V regulator, I just assumed I needed one and never thought to try it with out,

I use Futaba S9351 servos with very good luck so far.

I cut the rear tower with a dremel just below the rear upper wing mount screws. Then I flip the tower over and cut it so that it will fit across the front tower. Then just drill the holes out to match the stock tower. That picture is the only one I have of my current car right now.

Did you run it with a spek system and a 6V regulator with no problems? What servos were you using?

yep, I'm using the Futaba Spektrum, both pro and standard, and with pretty much every brand of servo, the start of last year I had servo issues , so I used JR, Airtronics, Futaba, Ace, both digital and analog (in throttle), all worked fine with no issues,

they actually work better because you always have a constant 6V, it never drops below that like with a nimh pack

Welcome Travis Scrambling to the Team. He will be racing the CEN Matrix for the 1st time this weekend at the FSORS and then at the AIC next weekend. Travis was on the 2004 ROAR USA Ifmar Worlds Team in Sweden before he took a break from racing.

We down sized the team a lot from last year, but we are adding a few good drivers here and there to replace Jason Ashton. This is only CEN Racing's 2nd year having a race team. Their 1st pro kit did not come out until 1 year ago - March of 2006 - The Matrix Pro FRE.

Very nice looking!

I got my Ecktec rear hingepin stuff in. Looks to be in great shape and I got it used or about $15 shipped!
