Default Best 1/12 scale site??

Where's the best place to shop for 1/12 scale parts? I've got a CRC carpet knife and my LHS doesn't stock anything for it. Is there a good 1/12 scale place?? Also, what tires work best on carpet--and asphalt?
Thanks
Tim

I think CRC is distributed by Horizon Hobby which most hobby shops seem to work with. So your LHS may be able to get you the parts even though they don't stock them. May wanna check.

Also---what's the "Color" coding for all these tires---Magenta--Pink yellow Grey--is there a simple code for softness and grip to firmness??
Thanks
T

Okay---what works best on carpet?

What works best on Asphalt??
I can get Jaco and Parma easily--so let's start there.
Thanks

Different manufacturers use different colour coding.
Jaco and Parma 1/12 tires are the same, but GRP's for example, have a different colour set.

give tuesday evenings at WCRC a try? They will race a class with a minimum of 3 cars.

last tuesday, we had 3 cars, and tonight there were 5. (it would have been 6 but i got stuck at work)

its asphalt, not carpet, the only other 1/12 racing option (that i know of) is at Roadrunners in Camarillo.
