Default question about Kyosho Shelby Cobra Body

Has anyone ever seen one of these? I've looked all over and have found no info on it. Look at pics. I think she's a rare one

Since it's a Kyosho body, I can guarantee you that it will be beautiful once painted up. They have excellent scale detail bodies. Did it come with the driver head and the windshield too?

If you paint it up, you should do it in the original Shelby blue with the white stripes. Please post pics of it when it's done.

I think it originally was for the Kyosho GP/EP10 series of cars. The GP was the nitro version and the EP was the electric version.

It is from the Kyosho Nostalgia Series, which were built on the GP and EP Spyder chassis. If my memory serves me, they were made in the early 1990s.

Yeah, they are from the early 1990's Nostalgia Series as SteveP pointed out. I wish Kyosho would bring back those bodies again. They made a gorgeous Shelby Daytona Coupe body as well!

If it is missing the windshield and drivers head that will devalue it unfortunately.

I really have no idea what it's worth as is.

Kyosho made a bunch of nostalgic body's in the 90's. Like Team Lotus said, they made a daytona coupe that I'd love to have, but almost impossible to find.
They also made a Ferrari 250, Ferrari p4, MG, skyline 2000, ford gt40, 63' or 64' corvette, and the cobra.
They were quite detailed body's too, I have a GT40 body still in the box and it has a few plastic part trees that goes along with it as well as a decal sheet. I've watched one of the complete corvette body's sell for just over $100 on eBay a few years ago.
But again like team lotus pointed out, without the plastic parts or decals it's worth less, maybe keep an eye on eBay for the missing pieces if your looking to sell it for high dollar, otherwise I would just fab up a windshield and make it a runner!
On that note, does anyone have a complete unpainted daytona coupe body they'd like to trade for a complete GT-40 body?

asc6000, that body is drop-dead gorgeous!! Where did you get it, and what car is it on? We need the manufacturers to do more bodies like that! This is what on-road needs to help bring it back!! Scale realism!!!
