...beyond skill and tyre, car electronics prep is not kind of lucky or unlucky matter, electronic + water is not a good combo.. I dont think current car escs and receivers are really 100% waterproof (splashproof??), maybe some balloon wrap or some plastic case will do the trick..,
Reading between the lines here, if that's ok, I get the feeling you have not raced in the rain? If not, that's ok, but you are missing out on something. I know the North American approach is not to run in the wet, but it really can be fun. 4 wheel power drifts, and huge rooster tails off the tyres is fun, but for sure you really need the correct tyres. As for the electronics, there certainly are ways to waterproof everything in the car, but I do know MRT speedos are waterproof.

I'm sure they will deal with the rain if it persists, I'm hoping its clear so we can see some fast racing.

From what I have heard they are goin to race rain or shine...the only problem they may have is that there may be thunderstorms....with antennas I hope they take some caution with the weather.....

I just hope everyone is safe there...I know that if the worlds were in Cali... there would be no problems..it was beautiful here today and same supposed to be for tomorrow....

Hold on everyone just went to orion site and video is up and running and track looks ok might be damp but no visible puddles or standing water. Just must have had a bit more delay.
