There are several strips per table but its always a bad idea to bring one with you wherever you're racing. With a full house I don't imagine too many spare outlets.

Does the single car qualifying set the grid for the mains or for the rest of the qualifying heats?

For the heats only, just like last year. The 1 minute was a suggestion from last year when there was a couple issues with a few cars getting an extra warm up lap.
