If the Smack down race in Vancouver is a week before or after ,it would be great for me . It makes it worth the drive/flight from Sask for 2 races in one trip

Any way thats a nice track how big is it? is it very hard to find ?

The track is about 110' X 60' and is just off Hwy.#1 East as you are comming into Kamloops. Directions will be made available soon. This should be a great race with lots of prizes and tons of fast competitive action.

Great News...Rudy Chong from Absolute R/C together with Ren Carroll of Interior R/C, are proud to donate a brand new Ho Bao,GPX4 RTR Nitro Touring Car at our "2005 Kamloops Fall Touring Car Classic" Race. The car will be raffled off durring the course of the race weekend. All the more reason to be there on September 17th and 18th. Just a little over a month away.

See you all soon....

Hey Guys, do you prep the track. As in blow it off, spray it with something like pop. More tration is always better.

Default Traction is good

There is decent traction right now. The track will be as clean as possible for the race. Doug did mention something about spraying sugar water, but I think a decend groove will develop quite quickly without it. Also, we've already been having problems with wasps so having sugar on the track won't help at all. Plus, how is it on the cars? hard enough getting them clean when the dust isn't sticky!

WhoopAssRacing- are you running the FT TC4? Can you PM your current setup for the car? TC4 or FT, which ever you've been running. Thanks

Hey Dave

We sweep the track Dave but haven't put anything down for more traction cause we have a real hornet problem at the track and they really like pop .....We may do it for the race if the bees are not as bad.....maybe we'll try it this weekend

Oh and Guiseppe...you let it dry before you run on it or yes you will have a sticky car

I agree with Jason completely...traction is good already and the sugar water might just excite the wasps even more... We will get the track washed down with our fire hose before Friday so it should be really clean for the race weekend.

Dave...you comming up....hope so!! Sweet prizes and cool awards this year!

Oh....and one more thing....There is and still will remain a 10 Turn Motor limit for Mod Touring.

See you all soon.

Default I've been..

Hey rick

I've been beating you haven't I, and until a clipped a dot and rolled my car, I was only two corners back of Doug and Melnyk.

And with TC, setup is everything. Doesn't matter the car, if it's not setup right for the driver, it isn't going to win.
