it's really a pain how to thread those screws into plastic..
it strips easily and hex drivers are much better too......
otherwise i wouldnt be considering the cyclone S at all. the TT01 is really a good basher for everyday racing or when the weather is bad =)

was visiting a shop at jalan penjara. they're selling the tt01e for $240. the tt01R is going for 220. which to get?!

if you like bling, get the tt-01r.
if you like durability, get the tt-01e.
btw guys, i read a japanese rc sport mag, tamiya says that tt-01"E", E stands for enchanted.-

Hi all,
I a newbie into RC and thinking to take up this hobby but still headaching over which car to get.
Actually i aiming for the TT-01D as i want to take up drift driving but i was recommed the TT-01E. Feedback i received from is the TT-01E is more 'driveable' n easier to control.
The shop told me if i wanted drift, for now i need is just to change the ball bearings n i pretty much set as a beginner. For the rest of the hop-up like motor etc, i was advised to do it at a later stage until my skill is there.
But my frd who having the TT-01D said the D is more value-for-money due to the stock ball bearings,suspension n motor but its a old model which had proven itself....i very confused now...which one is better?

As for it's handling , I can't really have some personal recounts as I do nto have these cars but all I can say is that when ur drifting your losing traction already so controlling it will be naturally more tough but - thats the fun of drifting !
This is the contradictory statment drifters suceed in : Controlling the tires when it loses control(grip)

Hi guys, is the ball diff. can really outrun the gear diff?
or is it waste of money to upgrade my gear to ball?
