well i guys i finally got my d-2 sorted out
this weekend for the florida state series race here in coral springs. i held 5th in qualifying up til the last round were i fell down to 7th spot in the a 19t.
turnouts for 19t are really good even at the end of the 8 race season with people out of it for point there was 40+ entries for this class.
i finished were i qualified 7th in the main
i had worked my way up to third half way thru the race but i help my self fall back to 7th where i finished. over all i was happy
i finished 6th for the season out of 70 guys. i will post my setups in a bit.

font springs blue
rear tower up front
shock middle position
ride hieght 5 mm
droop 6.5
castor 2 deg ( most important part of setup)
f-o kickup
nitro steering rack (very smooth) recomended
1 deg toe out.
40wght oil #2 piston.
stock front sway bar.
spool up front.

rear
silver springs
middle shock position
40 wght oil #2 piston
3-2-2 block
standerd r block
the car diffenatllly likes softer spring and lighter oil in the shocks has to do with the wheel base.
stock rear sway bar
logest wheel base
droop 4.5
5mm ride hight.

spec tires take of 27's

guys i tried a ony way but the car was to nervous the spool was the fastest and most controlable. made for good corner speed and able to dog fight other cars with out being uncomfortable
try this set guys you wont be dissapointed

Hey Ryan, i did talk to him and he pretty much said we could, but the only thing is i'm taking the whole week off of school for the snowbirds (a heck of a lot of work too make up!!!!! ) and being it's so close toghether it will be hard for me to take off a few more days to come up, but I would really love to come up and I just might make the sacrifice and just go down thurs. and only take off one day and then go up there on like tues. talk to you later.

I gear the monster with a final drive ratio from 6.92 (26t), 7.20(25t) and 7.50 (26t) thatis with a 72 t spur.

With the P2K2 I start with an FDR of 6.92(26t) all the way down to 6.21 (29t) also with a 72 spur.

What are the advantages of running one-ways? What conditions do you use them in?

more corner speed , less brakes need to be used ,, more on power steering... better on sweeping coners than tight corners ...It is faster If you can handle it..

My new Demon D1 should be here in a few hours!! Go UPS!!! Cannot wait to take the file and sandpaper to it!!

I am starting to think I have an obsession with prepping CF chassis!! IN the last two months I have prepped two Rev3 chassis, three Demons and now this one. Good practice.

BUmmer I dont have enough parts to build two complete kits!!! KInd-of sucks!!! Maybe after the Champs.
