Cool Trans Am bodies

It looks great, but I think we should have to paint numbers on the side of the car. And that's we use are state series finishing class number.

I think he means to use your overall finishing position in the series from last year as your permanent car number the following season. For Example, If you finished 1st Place Overall in Masters for the 2007 series, you would run number 1 the following season.

Bodies are cool, by the way.

I noticed them when they first posted it. Why not stock class race them? It's always the masters. I've had a McAllister Plymouth Cuda new in the bag for years. It reminds me of how dumb I was to sell it for $1500.00 to get my new 1973 240Z.Who knew?Still have the book I got at the dealership- I just don't have the car.
If the rest of the Masters want to try this ?I'll use my old Cuda body and paint it gold. Now maybe I can look like the picture I took and weight about 50 lbs lighter and long brown hair.....

It would be nice to have both the Cuda and the 240Z

I just brought it up as an idea cause we have 4 different classes of Mazdas racing at every weekend. I'd be willing to get a second car (my 007) ready and run this at the first race. Lets see who else would be willing to run it and maybe we can get something going.

Got any ideas on who might want to do this? Do we do this with the 13.5. I don't want to do the tires but I like the rims.Maybe just an race promoter class option?Ask PNP?

I am going to be new to the state series, but I am willing to run the TA bodies. I will be running in Masters with a 13.5 in a Yokomo shaft car, and I haven't settled on a body yet.....but I think HPI only makes those bodies in 200mm

This is a cool idea. I would be willing to run a body for masters plus it would distinguish the masters class from all the others well except for 1/12

these are awesome, if we run them we have to use the old school rims and tires, they complete the look-also i think they offset to match the 200mm bodies.

Well the question is anyone really intrestead in running this at PNP next year?

Now do you want to run these in the Masters class or run it as a seperate class? If you run it as the masters class according to current rules I can't run it for the next 8 years.

I'd say a seperate class with the same motors that the stock and masters class runs.

Roly, It would be cool to run these as a separate class, but we have tried that before (trucks and 1/12th scale touring) and never got a following. Maybe these would be different? I myself would run it either as a separate class or in masters, but just don't want to get all geared up and everyone else bails out after one weekend.
