Default best velcro or "hook & loop" to hold ESC?

I run a Mamba Max setup and the USB is on the long side of the ESC. This means that to tune it, i need to remove it each time so i can fit the USB cable into the port.

I used servo tape, as usual, but removing it proved to be scary as the stuff i use is pretty incredible, plus it's just damn wasteful and inconvenient to have to lift it every time.

I tried velcro, the yellow package stuff. the adhesive side worked great, but the damn velcro itself posed a problem. The soft side was such a high profile that when attached to the harder side, it would make the esc wobble atop a mound of velcro.

What can i use? Is there a nice low profile velcro that works for this application? I'd like the ESC to be able to be pretty secure yet removeable.

You might want to try 3M dual lock...

''Ultra Velcro'' It's what I use, less than 3mm
assembeled. The hook side seem's nearly smooth
and dosn't hold or plug up with fluff.
It's Black colour is nice to.

I have been using industrial strength velcro brand for several years and have never lost a ESC or RX.Just clean the surfaces you will be sticking the tape side of the velcro to with isopropyl alcohol 1st.

''builthatch'' Yes Sir that's the stuff. Found it at
a local hardware chain, Home Depot.
Was reasonable $ less than $20.00 for more than
enuff to even share some.
Seen the Ind' stuff wider, white! glue.
The clear or black glue on the Ultra stick's great.
I have @ 9 or 10 Elect' components held in micro's.
The body and ESC & Rec' in a RS4-P3.
Spectrum Rec' in EB4-S3. LST,help's hold 2nd batt 5cell
hump on frt shock tower. T-Maxx batt help again.
Anywere I put a personal transponder it only need's @ 1/4''
grip to stay!
This stuff is so cool I bet you could hold Heat Sink's on with it!
