Ray....I was going to get the Futaba 9550 but no one had them until like a month after I got my car. So I went with this JR servo and Im glad that I did. Its super smooth like all JR DS servos are. It has plenty of speed and power plus its alittle smaller. The only thing about it is that its more narrow then most servos so its a little tricky getting the servo mounts to line up properly....but so far I have not had any problems with it.....it gets the thumbs up for sure.

Default First run-wow-RIIP!!!

I fianlly got to drive my Pro4 tonight. I was only at track for about 1.5 hours, but I managed ot get in three packs. the first two were waisted on putting traction into the new track layout. Basically doing three laps, resaucing tires, going out and 3 laps, etc, etc, etc till I dumped batteries. Also-we just had the Nats-so theres areas with mad grip-then you hit a bare spot and SLIIIDE or spin out.....

ON the third pack I put a good pack in-track was now at least driveable and car has awesome rip and top speed is great too. No complaints in the speed department. This car loses nothng to my BMI Tc3.

as far as handling-well-no grip is no grip so your basically just sliding around if you overdrive so I wont make any solid comments except that there is NOTHIING galringly wrong with this car!! Out of the box it felt solid!!!

I am a very happy pro4 customer so far!!

Also-after three packs-the drivetrain is soo free!!

The white springs are Losi springs.

excellent i needed to know this. also i noticed from your pics vegeto that you have the american version pro 4? with the mip style cvd's. your top deck isn't countersunk either.

on my kit it is the jap version and the cvd's are the normal looking type( bummer) but the top deck is countersunk.

i'm currently building mine but from what i can see this car looks like a winner! excellent plastic quality. the rear diff is a little noisey though.
