I ordered a few sets of the Mono tires from Ron last week, and after seeing my car run (first time on track) the other nitro guys and one guy that doesn't even race with us wanted to buy my extras!! I started out with 5 sets 37 and 40 shore and ended up with one set- the one on the car!! Anyway, I won by over a lap I think (5 min main). Also, until the main I couldn't see any wear and after practice, 2 heats and the main the only obvious wear was the rears about 1.7mm. The front maybe wore .5mm. I was very pleased with the tires and even after a few brushes with the wall the wheels and foam was in great condition after the race. To be fair, I should note that our parking lot track doesn't have a lot of traction- I would call it medium asphalt at best.

I guess I'll be ordering some more tires soon Ron. Thanks!

True, these tires wear great! I ran 3 - 5min. qual. and a 10 min. main on the same set of tires. I won that race by a lap on the field. Thanks Ron. I started at 62mm./ 37frts./40rrs./710

Just ordered some foams for my NTC3. If they arrive in time, I'll be using them for racing on Sunday and will post my feedback.

Default sidewalls

What are the sidewalls of the monotuning tires like? are they a straight sidewall similar to jaco or enntti or are they radiused like the GQ tire? There should be some rounding on edges but The Gq tires have a large radius , you loose quite a bit of contact patch with them. Was hoping these would not have radius. Are wheels brittle or flexible ??? do they flex and return or do they stay tweaked if take a hit ???
