jp .21 turbo
I just bought a jp .21 from a other member. First off, wow! I was running a nova 821b and this jp is insane. It seems like it takes a half second to get onto pipe, but when it does, watch out, I can't wait to get it on a bigger track to let it wind out. Anyways, do the turbo plugs not use washers? I went to pull out the plug, and it was in there so tight that I had to use a actuall socket wrench to get it out insted of my straight socket. It had no washer, which I thought was the problem because a little bit of fuel was leaking out the plug and causing some smoke. So I went to put the new plug in and it did not come with a washer( my first turbo engine).

Which specific JP.21 engine are we talking about here mate?

It was probably leaking because it was not a Nova plug. Use Novarossi turbo plugs or RB or JP.

I would say yes
if you are in for a strong engine
with plenty of power and a long lifetime
parts are a tight fit
hard time to change sleeve/piston sometimes
