Orderless traction compound

The new Niftech stuff is good and the best part is you don't need to wipe it off the tire you just put it on 5 minutes before the run and it dries off. Rob Love used it at Cleveland.

We have a guy at our club that actually saves his shaving when he trues his tires and also picks up pieces of chunked tire around the track. He has them in a poupourri (spelling) bowl sitting on his coffee table in his living room. He prefers the smell of Paragon. Talk about a die-hard.

Niftech worsk awesome on a track that has a Paragon groove.
The question remains to be seen if you use NIftech and Only Niftech-will you get a groove in the track. And even more to the point-what happens if you miss the groove like passing somenone on the outside? Will you take a full speed c-hub breaking hit into the outside wall?
JTG works very well too-but in very large quantities (i.e. 1000 cars per day) it might gum-up the carpet and you end up with less traction.

here in the UK, the 12th scale comitee only allows 3 odourless adatives
jack the gripper corally tc2
lrp
orion street juice
these 3 work well together, the problem as we see it, is for it to work, everyone needs to be on ODOURLESS... not some on TQ, some odurless, it destroys the traction.
we banned TQ orange from our club a LONGGGGG time ago, as its acidic, it eats away at the carpet. not good!
i was always a fan of wintergreen, CRC downforce and the like... but this is the way our country went, along with alot of europe, and it seems to be working fine.
the only problems with odourless as i see it, is
1)the timing can be quite varied compared to paragon, no more 40mins for rears and 20 for fronts bench-set
2) the marbles, even when you only JUST stray off-line, are worse that with paragon
3) no big meetings, outside of the EU, are using odourless in bulk...
hope that helps guys, LMK how you get on with the odourless

Our indoor track requires either Jack The Gripper or TQ Orange. TQ works pretty good but I found that JTG was horribly inconsistent for myself, to the point of not even bothering to use it and just alcohol rubbing the tires down before the race to clean off the lose stuff. Bought some stuff from Niftech and being that I work at the track he wanted me to try his new stuff out and sent a bottle my way. Too bad the odor was a bit strong on the Niftech stuff as it is totaly kickass tire prep. Niftech does not sit there on the tires like snot for an hour, it absorbs into the tire in less then five minutes softening and losening the tire compound up nicely; the scent does fade a bit but you can still smell it long after it has been applied.

Yup, that is the TQ brand of tire prep and works pretty good for me on Ozite carpet with rubber tires.
