Take a Revo to a full offroad 1/8 scale track and try to race against one of those cars. When you get smoked and see what the differences are, you'll find out why its more money.

Mugen is your best bet. I have the Kyosho STRR and its good but I wish I would have bought a mugen. If you want to save money buy a non-prospec, ive seen them as low as 409.

ezveedub, the only thing these trucks got on my revo is they are lighter, and a little more aerodynamic guaranteed i would get them on the straights.

how is the motor in the losi rtr? is it powerfull enough to please me for awhile, and i can race with it for starters?

Are you going to buy new or used??

After about 3-4 weeks of researching i decided to stay away from RTR's if you plan on racing at all.

If/when i go to buy a brand new kit, im planning on getting an OCM.

idk, the revo with the 523 gets it once it hooks up, i am panning to buy new unless there is a used one i find decent priced and not too beat. they do make a rtr and a race roller, but is the race roller really that much better?
