Oh ok, the bevel pinion, Nah not a problem yet. I am using the LD3 pro ones (CNC machined) I assume the CD3 pro has the same ones. I know mine are different to the LD3 Standard/RTR ones. Its twice survived very bad mesh from the diff screws ripping out (cause- hitting stuff while drifting) I am very impressed with the quality of the gears! shes being racing for 12 months now. I use automotive grease on them, dunno if that helps.
Your gears gray or black in colour? Black ones = CNC :)
See:
CNC Machined -Ld3 pro (and CD3 pro?)
LD3 RTR ones

I'm putting together the Conversion kit but I think I just noticed something... not finished yet but...
this kit isn't designed for the newer wider CNC servo saver set is it? Mine seems to hit the plastic post that supports the front radio tray. I haven't mounted the arms to test the travel bit is this so?
Another question for you guys, w/ the CF shock towers, which hole do you guys use for the upper arm mounts. I was thinking the lower inner hole?
thanks in advance.

The wider rack will work. You just have to shave a little bit off of the plastic post.
I've been running the upper arm mount on the lower inner hole.

Yes it handles better than the LD3...The weight distribution in the CD3 made the car completely different. I honestly couldn't tell you if it's better than the FW-O5R, I've never had the chance to drive one.

I think the car has better gearing than the FW-05 and is more adjustable out of the box.
Good job Stevo!
