Post need help with savage

hey guys, i was just woundering why my savage would keep striping the main spur gear, i have been though 6 of them and im getting sick of replacing them.
any ideas to stop it would be great, thanks.

are they melting or stripping ?

Try adjusting the mesh if you havent, also check that the slipper is set correctly like it says in the manual. Im on number 3 myself so i reset the mesh an this should cure it.

its striping it but i do think the spur gear is getting abit hot.

ran mine today after adjusting the mesh an no stripped gear, so it was definately the mesh. Pulled wheelies an everything without stripping it out.
