We had a fantastic day of racing. The weather was perfect. Thanks to JQ and JT for pressure washing the track on Saturday, the traction came-up after the morning cool air past. Thanks to all the guys that made long trips from Switzerland, Ft. Myers and Orlando to race with us. We hope you had fun.

RESULTS: Village Raceway :: Club Race :: LiveRC

We do our best to avoid conflicts with other races, and April is a busy Month. Instead of the first Sunday in April, our next race will be April 15th due to Easter, FSEARA Race and the Paved Nationals. We hope to see you then.

Great day of racing. Would like to thank David Baptiste, JQ and JT for all of their time putting on the race. Makes the travel from Fort Myers worth it.

Curious have you guys considered a pan car class?

I made it out to the track after the club left and ripped around the track with my 12th scale 2s pan car and had a lot of fun. The foam tires suck to that track like they were glued down which meant you could be very aggressive in the corners though I did find that the left most part of the track could have been more tacky.

For pan cars, we run Formula One and some guys run world GT R at times. Unfortunately, both those classes use rubber tires. 1/2 scale is mostly run on carpet and not on asphalt. However, if you start a class and other guys join you, we will start a class.

A 12th scale pan car definitely seemed to work fine on the prepped track, I think a 2s 12th scale pan car class would be a lot of fun.

Hello Everyone,

In the not so distant past I started tinkering with helicopters, and I've since been quite attracted to all things RC. I built my first truck recently and love it. I live in the Keys but have an apartment in WPB. I'd love to start racing something, or at least move in that direction. Would there be a suggested car/kit/class to participate?

Thanks!

Tyler

Hey everyone, I’m putting together an X1 F1.... Motiv MC2, I’m using the stock 96T 64P spur for now. What final drive are some of you running? Looking for a starting place.
Happy Easter everybody! Have a great day tomorrow!

I run 35 tooth pinion and gear up and down depending on the layout. I'm using a Motive 25.5.

Thanks, I will start there. Been a long time since I’ve ran a pan car!
