Simon, my mate had one go in an engine and it ruined the whole thing. I know the PL set last ages and so i think it will last longer than the other bits of the engine, crank, conrod and wrist pin.

I checked the crank i had the last BRB set in and the pin is worn out. The wrist pin was also worn but the PL set was perfect.

It is defenetly right. To put a new set ( regarless brand) will required farily good condition of the rest parts and if cranckshaft pin pretty worn out-will not help inlife and performance. My post was refering, that I have never got feedback that wirst pin is worn out quicker then piston. We use high alloy steel heat treated to 58 Rockwell and wrist pins last about 3-4 pistons before change them.

What is the s4 piston, and how that would improve performance ? I suppose that the S4 piston will wear away more slowly than the original one !!!

S4 is new development in piston and it has been already partly release.

Any word on the .21 on-road engines??? Also is there a piston/sleave set available for Rossi engines??? thanks

We are not sure when .21 on-road engines will be available. There are .21 BRB sets available for .21 Nova Rossi but none for Rossi engines.

They do fit the JP engines. I got your email. Will send you a reply now shortly. Been sorting the car and engines out for this weekends racing. I hate travelling to the mainland UK. Always end up forgetting something or other.

I just installed mine in an old 3-port JP case. Had to use a lame crank though because of out EFRA rules here.

Yeah. I tested mine with the JP crank and it was great. Dunno what it will be like with the NSR one.

Has anyone tried using them with KHM crankshaft? I believe it has the most torque...

Not tried it but should work fine. The KHM has better induction timing which will benefit the BRB sets.
