Tanaka still with Serpent.....and winning again!

Well guys, look like he is still driving the 960. 3rd round of the Japanese Champ, 960 TQ with another driver and Tanaka won the race.
Looks like Serpent is coming back and the 960 is a winning car. I was a Serpent fan until the Vector and then i switch to Mugen and i am happy with my brand new 4R...... but maybe a 960 will join my garage really soon

Masao Tanaka TQ and victory with the S-960 at the FEMCA 2006 CHAMPIONSHIP

Tanaka took the honors at last week Femca champ in Taiwan taking TQ and Victory in 1/8 scale class driving a Serpent 960 with Nova engine.

Looks like this combination is working pretty well for him and that Serpent is coming back to the winner circle with a really good car.

That is SO WEIRD....is Tanaka a Serpent Team Driver Japan..? Or he is still under NO CONTRACT with Serpent and he just use Serpent car...?

Take a look at the 1st pictures....Mugen Tools, Mugen bags, Mugen this and that.....except 1 Serpent 960....what is the deal?

maybe he just use the serpent 960, but is not sponsored by Serpent. The car doesnt have serpent stickers, only novarossi and kawahara - his only sponsor(?).

He is free to use whatever car he wants to as he is sponsored by Kawahara, Novarossi & KO. In fact, in 10th he used a MTX-3.

Yes, a MTX-3. I was at this FEMCA event & saw it myself. The reason I was told was because he has not had time to practise with the MTX-4. I must admit, he didnt even look like winning in 200mm the whole time, Bertin & Iwamoto were the class of the field. Maybe he should have used the MTX-4.

I wonder which car he will use at the 200mm worlds in September...
