Default New Picco .21

Hello everyone, I just received my Picco Torque .21 EDO motor. Should I add a Shim for 25% Nitro and also do i have to use a washer under the plug? Thanks in advance.

You can if you like, depending the track size you run.
Is your track small, keep it as it is, if the track is bigger, add 0.1mm.

are you serious!
NO!...
These plugs are so called "turbo" plugs, they have a conical end.

Ok Thanks for the info. I had an old picco plug that did'nt seem to seat right. But I have never used a washer with a "turbo plug". Will order new plugs. Thanks!

Yes, part # ...7726 is the conical manifold the other is not. Conical= better power band, Non-conical is better fuel economy. Maybe someone else can provide more detail.

Any shop in USA selling the new Picco engines? How come I still don't see any, it has been released like over a month already? The new Nova is too expensive now. I want to get something cheaper in price at the same fast performance.

A good base setting for the .21 Torque is as follows.

High Speed Needle = 3 turns out
Low Speed Needle = 4 turns out
This is flush with the housings on both needles.

The factory settings are 1/2 turn leaner than what I have listed above.

For break in, I would start 4 turns out on the LSN, adn 4 turns out on the HSN.
