maybe you should read some advertising on the QC2, trust me, they are waterproof, the whole board is enclosed in some sort of material that seals it. and i have had many talks about it with the designer of it

I do think so. The only thing I did other than install it was put a piece of electrical tape across the button and LED holes.

You should check this out:

I have seen a QC2 submerged in a glass of water and run a motor on the counter of the hobby shop I manage. I've also seen a Mtroniks ESC work under water with no water proofing.

I haven't seen QC2 run submerged, but I've seen abnormal number of QC2 failing when racing in the wet. In fact it's the only time I've actually seen QC2 fail. And they die, they do not come alive again when dry like some other ESCs.

Hi everyone,

thought this is about the new QC3 and not the QC2...
Details about the new, and already worlds winning, LRP QC3 will be announced by next week I guess. It has new hard- and software inside, production versions are going to be waterproof again while the prototypes at the worlds don't have the sealing yet.
There was indeed some issues with the waterproofing on some QC2's, unfortunately... But this has been adressed in detail and solved completely for the new QC3.

i think he doesn't work for kyosho.....

kyosho just pays him to work for them at high level events.....he left yokomo to create his own company...

and one of the services that Hirosaka Racing offers track support, it's called Hrosaka Mechanic Support and I think everyone who wants him to be a mechanic can have it.....
