Yeah - The smaller track where I am has a long single after a sharp 180 turn. I noticed some faster guys would clear the single for the whole heat. A few fast guys would barely be coming up to the top towards the end. Interestingly, I noticed some of the guys consistently making it had Ichargers. I only made it the first 4 or 5 laps. Then again I have a heavier, older b5m and probably should work on my gearing. Notwithstanding drawing the perfect line. However, in this example the jump was so close to the 180 turn most guys were coming almost from a dead stop... In any event, many situations like this. it's correct, being a noob I need to learn how to draw better lines. But, any help with the low end with motors would be extremely helpful.... Hopefully, a little extra motor may give me that umphh just to get to the top of similar jumps more often.... rant over thanks for reading....

Hard to tell without being there, but that may be in your race line.. could be as simple as you need to go a little wider on that corner? What causes the change after a few laps? Traction going away throughout the run or ? My buggy doesn't loose any power throughout a run at all. If the car can stand it, maybe go up a level on your punch setting? Also check ride height? I noticed real quick in 1:10 they don't jump well if right height isn't right.

Im definitely no expert lol. just my .02

They do. I can feel the edge fall off after about 3-4 laps. Then it runs "normal" for the race and begins to fall off again towards the end of an 8 minute run. Not to the point where you can't clear jumps or anything but just kind of soft feeling.

On a similar note, I stepped down a tooth for our 8 minute main last week and pulled the car off the track at 190°. I went from 33/68 to 32/68 and gained a ton of heat with my 17.5. Normally I finish the main at around 150°. I noticed the mesh sounded a little noisy on my warm up laps but when I checked it after the race it was fine. At that point, I noticed some roughness on the face of the teeth of my aluminum 32 tooth pinion gear. That's the only thing I can think of that would have caused the temp increase. Crazy....

Maybe that's why all the other guys look at me like I'm crazy when they park their cars before the race and I'm out there running laps like Ricky Bobby LOL. I probably take the edge off my battery long before it starts lol.

hey does anyone know if 4wd front wheels will fit on a b5m FL without any rubbing? I have 2wd wheels that fit fine, but i have a greater selection of tires for my b44.3 and it just gives me a bit more versatility

Plus they are wider than 'legal'. If your track doesn't care then you could but its probably going to feel weird.

Are you confusing hex size and offset?
