On-Road track in Chaplin, CT.
Does anybody know when it will be done, or any pics of construction? anything

Pics and additional info coming.
The track is located at Chaplin Kawasaki in Chaplin Connecticut.
The dimension are 206x106.
I will get some additional info/pics out by weeks end. I am heading down on monday to follow up withe the track owner.
The owner is working on a website with additional info.

Nercar Race at the new location this Sunday August 3rd!!!
NERCAR and Chaplin Kawasaki will be hosting a race this Sunday August 3rd at the new location. Chaplin Kawasaki has been gracious enough to work with NERCAR in promoting racing in New England.
We will however need some help laying out the track starting fri into saturday morining and hope to be open for practice by saturday afternoon.
From what I hear tire wear may be a little on the high side as the lot has not been sealed yet. If Ted Hammer or CWHit could get in touch with me I have some questions as to surface prep (sealer etc.)

I will be trying to make this race on Sunday.

Keep an eye out for updates it is a work in progress.
It will be a permanent track but still under construction/revision at this point.
The layout will need to be heavily tested before it is painted down etc.
I plan to get some pics up on saturday.
The track sprayer is a kawasaki atv with 50 gallon 4 head power 10 foot sprayer....braaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
A local soft drink vendor has supplied a custom soda syrup.
The traction was high and came up quickly. As Andrew noted, the tire wear is higher than normal at this point based on my testing from monda

but yea I have a g4rs with a .12 JLR Evo3

also if you dont already make plans to have a hobby shop section at your shop, nothing sells more than a sunday race with people braking stuff and coming in to buy things.
someone comes in to buy a ZR1, oh look we have this here on-road for $400 it has the same acell as your new bike, really? ill take it!. lol no? i would.
