Also, are all manufacturers allowed for short course (i.e. my SC10) or is it just for Slashes? I'm assuming open means open, but I don't think I saw that specified anywhere... I'm still kind of itching to get the Triumph going again, and my brother would likely run a B4. The much newer SC10 might be a safer bet, though, or both. A bunch of short course trucks on that little track has got to be a blast

It's a 2wd buggy Kyosho put out in the early 90s (got mine in 91, I think) between various releases of Ultimas. Double decker carbon fiber chassis, belt drive, ugly body. They didn't seem too popular at the time. Tranny is kind of neat but not that efficient compared to gear units. It's my best bet for 2wd buggy, because everything else would be even older and in rougher shape.

there's not much to see, as it looks like a regular gearbox, except it has belts inside it instead of gears. A little bigger physically, maybe. With the SC10 being able to be raced pretty much everywhere indoors and out, I don't think I'm in the market for a 1/10 buggy at this point. Gotta stay within budget, you know.

Say, what are the length of the qualifiers and mains. The website says 10 minutes for A Mains, but is that just for outdoors? Is indoors different?

I think an earlier post indicated they were running every Saturday. Is that still true for January? I hope so, we're planning on making the trip in late January.
