At the Trinity booth in Cleveland is it going to be JACO brand tires sold or the Trinity CAPZ Dual Stage tires? or both?

i want to give the 2 stage tires a go on my 1/10 Xray FK04. I believe the part numbers are 4156 & 4160.

I cant find any dealers that stock these tires in the UK. Are there any?

Also,

Currently using the LRP powergrip additive. Is this OK to use with these foams or is there a better one?

Hoping someone can give me some insight. I was told that electric touring had 26 mm wheels. Jaco said there new 2 stage wheel is 28mm. Will that work with electric sedan? Thanks

The most common size is 28mm for foam racing. You can get 24/26 mm tires if you'd like. Speedmind sells 26mm.

Me again. To answer your last question of whether they work or not. Some cars will require that you modify parts to run 28mm tires. FK05, you have to shave the rear arms to make them work. With the CGM I always had to shave the wheel down to 27 mm or run spacers in the front to avoid rubbing on the knuckles. Just depends on your car.

The wheels do hit the steering arm, simply grind the steering arm for clearance. The JACO front wheels are 30mm which causes the issue, no big deal, five minutes work and you are all set.

You can use any additive you like but I would stick with what everyone else at your track is using. At my 2 home track most of us use Paragon Ground Effects and whenever we try to use other compound we just dont hook up as good.

Paragon is the most popular. But Jack The Gripper is very food as well. It has no odor. I forgot that CRC has there Downforce compund if they still make it.

Many tracks are making the move to odorless traction compounds like Jack the Gripper.....

If you've been following this board over the last couple months though the tire traction compound wars were really starting to heat up...even more so than the battery wars, with all kinds of compound manufacturers/distributors pimping their results trying to convince everyone that since their compound won the last race it's undoubtedly the best....

Personally..I use Jack because it doesn't stink to high heaven, and it's what is legal at my local track....period...

oh yeah....and it seems to work nicely too..
