Chassis will never be straight with just pressing it. You have to bend it back further then the normally straight position or it'll just spring back (like nitrodude stated). And unless you have a way of applying the pressure exactly where the bend is, it won't work. Bottom line, that chassis is toast, and will always be tweaked.

Thanks Sam for my brand new chassis, exelent service as always. about those advises you gave me, i did bend it back farther than the bend itself but just like 1mm farther, i didn't wanted to brake it, the chassis did get straight but... as soon as i put everything back together it bent again, so i'm starting to think, that this bend is "normal" i mean it's only 2mm raisen on the tip, i will know if i'm right as soon as i join the new one to my car.
but i will check at track on sunday if the other guys have bent chassis.

Don't know if you are running the alu x-brace in the middle of the car, but if you are, check that it did not bend in the crash as well.
If it gets distorted you will end up with a tweaked chassis no matter what you do.

I don't know about making it soft. When I run my car the chassis gets to about the same temp as the motor. 130dF asphalt (yes normal here in the desert and other hot places) and 260dF motor. Temp your chassis sometimes, you'll see what I mean.
Anyway, the bent chassis will not go back to how it was when new. The best way to try to straighten it so you can use it for the meantime is to get a couple of 4x6 wood (a little bit longer than the chassis itself of course). Sandwich the chassis, put it on the ground and run it over with your car (your real car!). Leave everything underneath the tire overnight. The next day you have a straight chassis.

the 0.4 gap with a tighter spring seems to work better, and a bit more control with the throttle is felt.

I notice there is a shim in it? I cannot find this shim at all in my
manual. anyone have any idea where it goes?
