Frank....that was actually a quote that I pasted.....

I was beat yesterday, that was all I could muster..

but if you don't think I was enthused,I posted it in 5 different threads..( and got heat because of it)....

I think it was GREAT for HPI to get the win...you guys have supported the hobby for a LONG time.......And to shut everyone up with a PRO car win....it doesn't get any better...

I talked to a few of the losing companys today....

You guys SHOOK them up......

Loosing 2 mm after 45 minutes of racing would make our track look funny. Imagine loosing 2 mm after a 5 minute heat on 42 rear tires

The 2 speed gearbox on the R40 looks a lot like the "older" 2 speed gearbox prior to 705, 835 and 950 cars that currently uses the lightened 2 speed gearbox.

Anyone notice that the winning R40 had its electronics mounted on the opposite side of the engine/pipe and the stock location is not in use.

Hey fastharry...is this the first mod you'll try or are you just going to use the stock location?

I was thinking about mounting my receiver in the same location but my person transponder and failsafe in the stock receiver location or vice versa.

Ummm, from Hara's R40 pics, it looks like it's a VERY long fuel line. Plus a large external fuel filter too Does anybody think that the stock tank contains less than 75 cc fuel?
