Does anyone know of a good video game for the PC to simulate off road racing for RC Cars. I have searched and can't find one.

Really the only one out there right now is virtual RC racing. All they have at the moment is on road racing stuff. I know that they have a off road game in the works. I can't wait for it myself!!

They had one for the Playstation 1. I think it was called Team Losi's RC Racer or something like that.

Buddy of mine used to have it, said it sucks. Chase camera angles, goofy weapons & powerups, theme-park courses...might be fun for your 7 year old kid, but it's far from an R/C sim

Until the offroad version of VRC comes out, Great Planes' "RealRace" is still a good play. And a bunch of years ago Traxxas had a game for PC as a sequel to "Radio Control Racers". Not a whole lot better than the Losi game but atleast it uses a driver's stand perspective and with some Photoshop know-how you can paint your own bodies.

I always play the Real Flight sim at my LHS and thought it would be cool to have cars and boats, the have tons of rc planes, and ifv they had every car I would be there all day during the summer...

They did have a car sim, called Real Race. They only got to version 2 before stopping it. I think part of the problem was they
A: Focused on mostly Duratrax Vehicles.
B: Did not offer a simplified visual interface for car adjustment (everything had to be entered be mm inches or degrees).
C: Did not fix bugs before stopping working on it. The biggest was the voice over of the races which you couldn't turn off and PLAYED AT FULL VOLUME no matter what you did.
D: Not enough track Variety.
E: No ability to import custom bodies. Only allowed tracks.


There is a smaller start up company supposedly releasing a RC Off-Road 1/18th Sim this fall/winter. Im not sure if it will be a carpet off-road sim or a dirt one.
