Pro drivers never wear glasses

Ive always thought about this myself as i wear glasses. I do think it plays a part in the pros success, but like Masami & JQ there are always exceptions to the rule.

I am almost blind in one eye, so depth perception is hard, but there are things to help. The contrast of black and white is easier to see. Most my bodies have alot of black and white as primary colors. If I run white rims, color the inside with black so it looks like a big dot. I can't use glasses as they give me headaches. My brain actually shuts down my left eye and glasses force it to work. I tried using them and did worse. Guess I am just used to it. I am supposed to use them driving at night, but I don't. I aviod the big blurs with red lights.

I wear glasses and contacts. I can tell you I am a lot faster with contacts. My peripheral vision and depth perception is so much better with contacts. I think it has something to do with the curvature of the glass lens. If I am not looking straight ahead in glasses I can't judge distance as well.
As someone previously posted, I too have to almost have to hold myself down to put something in my eye.
