If you do roll out in inches...

2.25 tire x 3.14 = 7.06
128 spur / 34 pinion x 1.83 internal drive = 6.88

7.06 / 6.88 = 1.02 roll out

I recommend running the Monsters between .97 to 1.02 and ROAR stockers at .90 - .98.. Red/Red springs on both motors.

I have been using 40 wt with 56 pistons all around. Use 15 lbs. springs up front and 12.5's in back. On your question about the bottom shock rod end yes you need to cut all 4 off 1/8th inch to let the spring keeper move closer to the ball. For my friends outside of the US, 1/8 th inch equals to 3.18 mm.

Your welcome!

To best answer your question..........Because Todd said to do it!!!! LOL Really on the original brackets and set-up Todd called for the shortening of the lower shock end by 1/8th inch so I did it.

Trimming the shock eyelet allows proper ride height adjustment, when using brackets. Too much preload with the new shock position

As opposed to cutting off a full 1/8", I found that removing 3/32" from the top of the eyelet to be a good solution. Gives a marginal amount more threads for the shock shaft to screw into.
