Are they in the same location as the stock trays? They appear to be slid out board some compared to the stock trays.
I personally would want then as far in board as possible and maybe the out side of the tray cut down a little to allow easier installation of the battery and to cut some weight.

I am taking into consideration everyones concern about weight by milling the pockets on the bottom side of the trays larger than they need to be to clear the nuts for the side guards.Hopefully they will be only slightly heavier than the stock plastic trays which I feel is a ok tradeoff simply because these trays will not break and you will not have to worry about your lipo getting chewed up in the pinion gear which is the main reason I came up with the idea for these trays. Thanks

Hope to set up the cnc tomorrow if we can finish the current job that is running.I would expect to have them ready on Friday.I placed a order with the lhs for the straps and they should be here on Friday as well.I will take some pics and start a new thread in the classifieds as soon as they are ready. Thanks again for the interest.

I will be honest and say we have had about a 20% failure rate with the rtr system on the track. We are recommending a specific programming for the hobbywing now. If that fails, then we can go to a 1800kv for the rtr. If you are a racer, Caster Racing USA is recommending and selling speedpassion as an alternative. Similar products, but modified for racing.

I will also mention that we have several team drivers who run castle and some are trying the tekin system. I personally wish I could find a bulletproof one. That is what I would put in my rtrs.
