Default RE: Belt drive car

If you're gonna build a belt car Kraig, build a good one. Get an X-Ray!
Kraig....yeah you better get a good one....like the X-ray....but it still doesnt have enough drive shafts to be fast in stock....still only 4 and it must have 5 to be fast.

Thanks for all the help this weekend

Ray (or anybody) do you have any contact with the people who are putting on the Cleveland Indoor Champs race? I plan to do similar coverage of that one myself in November. I already have hotel reservations and all that but after I sent in my entry form I heard the race was sold out. I need someone to try and squeeze me in.

I'm as eager to see those pictures as anybody... I'll let you all know as soon as they are headed online.
There are still spots left in 12th mod and mod TC. check TTT and ask for MR.BILL. He's the one that puts on the race.

nashrcracer.com already posts all the results, videos, and some pics. Matter of fact, a majority of everyone that did have results took them from that site. It will be up and ready to go for Cleveland this year with the high speed access in the hotel. We are trying to work on a faster way to get the results this year, but we will have to see. All the pics and results from last year are still up on the site.

later

I think he's referring to the upcoming Cleveland US Indoor Champs race, not the one from this past weekend.

I'll have my computers hooked up in the hotel as well, nothing wrong with having multiple angles of coverage on the same event. The high speed net access they offer sure makes it easier!

I haven't gotten in touch with Bob yet to get the camera back. I have a huge project to complete for work by tomorrow evening and will have virtually no downtime until then to work on things. I'll give him a call after that and see if he can drop it by on his way home from Trackside.

Now, as for complete results... anybody's guess!

Oh man, I have to run Mod TC? Look out world!

I'll see if I can reach him there (if my account still exists!) or maybe give him a call.

yes I was talking about cleveland last year. if you were looking for last years results scroll to the bottom of the main page. There is a whole section under Cleveland. results pics etc

as far as others. yeah it's great to get different angles. Orion did a great job on the offroad worlds and are planning on doing cleveland again as well. They do a great job. a couple of other sites cover the event as well. Just glad that the guys at home can finally check out how their hometown heroes are doing

Indeed! I will always be a big pro-ponent of as much online coverage of these big races as possible. The more we can find out, the better for us and the better for the hobby/sport.

Nothing sucks more than finding out what happened in February at the Snowbirds in June in R/C Car Action! haha

I think coverage of the 2004 Halloween Classic will be a lot bigger because people have now seen our facility and also how big the race is!!! We had Cyrul, Dumas, Desroiers, Blackstock, lemieux, Henderson, Doseck and the list goes on and on!!! And that doesnt even include the Awesome non-factory stock and Masters racers!!!

I am hoping the magazines will send out their crews as well. And hopefully Shane's work schedule will allow him to compete as well as cover the race first hand next year!!!

I am so pumped I am ready to start planning the 2004 race RIGHT NOW.
