I will find the pictures that i have for my SPEC 3 inside and post here or LRP section(engine forum) , whatever you want
I know for sure that SPEC 3 is better (botton end, mid and high end power) than SPEC 2 I race LRP engines since the spec 1
the differences that i see lrp spec 2 to spec 3 are;
the top of the sleeve is longer ,to compensate, the burning room is also longer (inside ) to maintain same clearence- same head shims
the cranckshaft has black anodized on some parts with minor modifications
I do not know about timing if had changed
the conrod has two small risks on inside botton side like megas
the coolong head is little diferent
and back plate also
Maybe i forgot something but......
Thanks
Fabian

I've had Picco engines since the old side exhaust and currently I have a JL Red Dot and a Picco Evo2 Edo Tuned, so I know a bit there and here about Picco engines...jejejeje...they are crazy fast.
From what you describe of the LRP Spec3 it seems to have same parts as above engines I have.... maybe difference is in timings and silicone ramp on cranks of engines I have, also my Edo has backplate with dished-in recess aligned with discharge exit of crank hole, also the crank bore is bigger than the one on the JL.
Please do post pictures on LRP forum, I don't want to abuse on Murnan's thread, which is meant to talk about his engines.
On a side note. We're having a big race here in Peru on April, with guys from Chile, Ecuador, Colombia......If you are interested in coming send me a PM and I'll fill you in with details.

New Engines
The Modified JLR Red Dot is in stock, as well as the modified Ninja T01A. We also have the stock version of each engine if you are scared. Ninja pipes are here too.

Has anyone run Byron fuel with the Murnan Modified CRF, according to Nano in the CRF engine thread it's not the best fuel for performance, but my choices are limited, my only other option to Byron is Weston ProSynth which is readily available.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the feedback, I've always run Tornado but can't get it for love nor money locally now and the shipping costs are almost as much as the fuel.
The local model shop only sell Model Technics, not sure what there new Sical blend is like, I know I can get Weston ProSynth a short drive away but never had any experience with their fuel which leaves me in a dilemma, your experience with Byron backs up Nano's view.

fantini
Hi uriah I have a new in box fantini .21.
I am going to use it for drag racing.
Is there any improvements you can make to this engine if I send it to you?
What would you recommend be done to it?
How much and how long would it take?

- How does the Ninja pipe compare to the Skyline pipe?
- Is your conventional break-in similar to what Mike S. is doing? If not, what are you doing different?
Thanks Uriah!

Put the engine in the car and run two or three tanks at a rich setting on the track and then it will be o.k to lean it out.
