Rules! we'll make them up as we go.
I would not worry about a tire truer right off especially if you go with CRC pro cut foam or Paul's tires. The CRC pro cut are still a little tall but if you don't hit anything and create a big chunk there will be a lot of run time on them. Paul's tires are trued perfectly down.

Right now mainstream is 13.5 blinky for 1/12. If you are going to USVTA Nats, GORC or snowbirds you might consider conforming. If no interest then go crazy with the rules Just make sure you do it in a way that gets more racers and not excludes them.

Anyone interested and want to come check it out watch the GA forum for when I post going to be a big 1/12 day and come check it out. We are running 3-5 on slow Wed nights and around 10 every other weekend.

IMO
Assoc 12R5.1 good easy to deal with pan car. Add the upgrade to a 12R5.1.1 and you have inline battery. Not sold on it myself but it works.

Assoc 12R5.2 I think this is the best all round car on paper. Hope it performs as well.

Xray X12 like the assoc 12R5.1.1 just your basic well performing pan car. I like mind but nothing mind blowing.

BMI Copperhead I loved this car and I did have the new front end but there was a flaw when I was running it which has been resolved so very good car USA made down in FL.

CRC the new car looks really cool with a new rear pod. Think I would give this one some time before jumping in and see how real world people do and like the car. It's all new

I'm leaning toward it, but I need to sell some stuff to fund it. Hopefully I can sell my 1/8 e-buggy that I never ran. I'll probably pick one up if I can make that happen.

I'm interested in the BMI and the CRC. I think BMI may have a new car on the way, so the CRC might be the ticket. I know the rear end is all new, but the front suspension has been around for a while. I also like the fact that you can center everything up on the chasiss, or go to a sideways layout. I've been learning how to tune link cars since I got the F104 V2 also.

I'm guessing Chris is out on the F1 now?

Csaari77 said he spoke with Dave Inman aka "Flying Tiger"is up for some 1/12th scale. We are going to get the old RC3 onroad group back one guy at a time.

My 1/12 scale deal came through, and will have it as soon as it get back in stock.

Jeff and Grant Wiley 12r5.1,Chris CRC carpet knife,Csaari77 CRC Xti, Dave?,BhamBrent 12r5.2 thats a good start For 1/12th scale. Now if we can get Nick, Eric G.,James and Dusten we'll have a full field.

So what are you guys going to get?

CRC Xti or AE 12r5.2?

Yea, picked up a CRC carpet knife this weekend on a trade. A TT01 for a CRC CK 3.2R, just need a damper tube and the car is a roller.

Does anybody have an extra 1s battery or the oval guys have one that I could get. Trying to keep cost down until I can get some more funds. Planning on running the Carpet Knife and see what car does best and my go that route. Now what body to run, hmmm.

I have talked to a guy and I can get a tire truer, does 1/10 and 1/12 wheels; just need some more funds.

I need to get an Obama money tree and share the wealth.

Who's Dusten?

Just playing, be safe over there things are getting crazy at our Embassies.

101 in Mini!!!!!LOL

Just for you this year, 4th Class is FREE!

The entry fees went down some this year and the $10 will go straight to the award pot. TC and VTA will be battling for a custom pit board and at least Top 10 in plaques this season. Hope the other classes have a great showing as well.

This year will be a great Series and I can't wait to get started!!!

No mini for me this year. I'll let Nick recover from the beatings I gave him last year!
