Maybe one day desoto can do something about their shipping to places not in the US, I went to place an US$80 order the other day, with posting to Australia it was US$280, which is over Aus$300, bet I didn't go through with that order.

+1. Their online postage calculations are ludicrous. No way I'd pay the fees that they are asking. Usually USPS is more than the UPS fee which also makes no sense at all...

Afterxmas was a promotion on a list of specific items which they were offering 30% discount on. It wasn't store wide.

Ok thanks Dan. Hey Dan.i know this ? Is in the wrong forum well I have 2? Could you give me some advice on the 748 when I get as far as servos tires and packs? I'm just trying to get a feel on what most people may be using so I can ,as my decision. The 748 will be street and paring lot speed runs along with some drag racing. I have a 18tz but know header yet. My plans is to put combo it with a small block Ercm pipe. But if you have any suggestion I'm open. Second I have a clocked 28-7t nova looking to put that into something like a gt cobra or buggy but know truggy. If you have any ideas on seen that mill in any vehicle with your experience. A open. I have had about a year they sat a new cobra gt is suppose to be released.

Default Burnt Clutch

So it turns out after countless hours trying to figure out the proper clutch settings. The initial manual settings are completely incorrect.

And just wanted to thank you guys for the support afterwards. Just visited the hobby shop in Hk bought new parts and with his help I'm up and rolling.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES. MAY 2015 be great.

If you go back a few pages in this thread there is lots of discussion on 748 servos, Tyres and packs. In short Sanwa ERS-971 servos and reedy life pack. Others use different setups all with good results.

WRT the cobra. I haven't heard of a new GT car coming from Serpent. The engine you mention will go well in the car. It isn't ROAR legal but if your just parking lot bashing then no worries there.

Really? The manual standard settings have been the same for years. They always work if done properly. What do you thing is wrong?

To run a tie rod to the the radio tray. It'll stiffen up the chassis. I noticed a lot of flex. No where near the spur/pinion, but it does seem a little excessive. I ran my 747 with the stiffener and it felt more consistent. I plan on running it as is outta the box and then stiffen it up.
