i have a setup on tekin's site. i would start with that. it is with 203, but still the same with 212. your current rpm range is way off, you will never get to 10000 with a 17.5 and 1s and just rolling the car is already running 500-800rpm
Yup, 1/12 scale. Thanks, I thought the RPM range was way off. Ya think I should go down to maybe 6,000 or 8,000

i still think you are high. a 17.5 is like a 2200rpm/volt motor. and at 1s, even if you have a full charged pack at 4.2v, you are barely at 9240.and every 1s i have cycled drops to about 3.8v as soon as you put a load on it.

check the tekin site

Is there a PDF manual for it around?

Any tips on changing the timing and running it sensorless? How does it compare to your newest motors and other well known motors (like speed passion or duo)

Thanks for the help!
I dont have any PDF files, But to tell you some about that motor. They were motors that came out 3 years ago. They were a decent run of motor but not exactally the power we were looking for power band wise. The motor at time was one of our most licly if it has the Express deacal on motor. Those motors were OEM motors we tune them but there MFG was done overseas for Trinity. We are just the tuner of the motors. AS far as timming we usally only ran min timming with those about 10*. You can run it sensorless, But doing sensorless will take away any timming.

Those motors compared to newer DUO-3,SP style,Thunder Power style motors, The newer motor by far have more power overall and run much cooler.

Motor you have is good motor, Just current motors have a advantage.

Hope this helps some.

I know this is probaby totally off for after about 6 mins., came of at 95 degrees. I didn't have the timing advance or turbo cranked way up at all, I just wanted to see how it would do. Before I spend a day and a half trying to figure out the best configuration, I thought I would give you guys a chance to chime in. Gearing is an 81/46 with 45mm tires, somewhat flowing 48' by 80' carpet track. Any help would be great just to get me in the Ballpark......yknow.
Like Yang said, Best bet is log onto team tekin online and dowload a setting there..That will get you VERY close if not spot on!!

Kevin..Its rare..Just wait...LOL

Just wanted to give a huge shout out to Devin Patterson. Today Devin took his Express powered car IP-6200 60c and DUO-3 Black Knight to second overall at the ROAR On Road Nationals in Oregon. What make's it a great comeback is after A-1 Devin had a 10th place finish after not being able to make 1 lap from a marshal stepping on his car. Devin went into defence mode to score points in a-2 and a-3. Devin came back to take second in both final mains to claim second overall.

Winning event was Vetran and well liked RC Pro Mrtin Crisp from Canada..Congrats to Martin and his Team.

Just wanted to throw a thanks out to Tag. This weekend we had our biggest race of the year. The leighton Dillard Memorial race. Had a lot of entries and tough competition from six states, and Express brought home some hardware.

I qualified 3rd and finished 2nd expert 17.5.

Express also got 3rd in 17.5 spec 1/12

And also a 1st and 3rd in 17.5 spec .

Good representation of our great products.

Thanks John.
