Default 2nd Annual Fireball Classic

The Midwest Racers Organization In Lincoln, NE is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Fireball Classic to be run on Memorial Day weekend.

Those who attended last year had a great time and this year should be even better with the addition of a couple of classes. We will run a class for the Inferno GT cars and also a class for electric sedan. Electric will run 10.5 brushless and rubber tires.

Plus we will still have 1/8 Open, 1/10 nitro Sedan, ane Intermediate Nitro Sedan.

Th race is also round 1 for the RC Pro Series.

The flyer for the race is attached.

If there are any questions, just ask.

Thanks to evertone who came out and raced at the Fireball Classic. Another great event. On friday morning, I didn't think we would race at all this weekend. Turns out, we got all three days in. Thanks to those who helped with the drying of the track.

We also need to thank the event sponsors: Delta Manufacturing, Jaco, Byrons, and Tim Ski & the HobbyPlex in Omaha. Also, big thanks to Hobbytown USA. Whithout them, we would not have this great facility to race at.

Congratulations to all of the winners. You earned it with 45 min races. Great racing by everyone all weekend.

One last thing, for the most part, I am the one who is seen running things. There are a lot of people behind the scenes with MRO who deserve a lot of credit for making these races happen. Thanks guys!

Hope to see everyone at the "3rd Annual Fireball Classic" on Memorial Day weekend in 2009.
